Scott Jackson

Guy Scott Jackson, 56 of Rossville, passed away Friday, February 7th, 2020 in his home surrounded by his family.

Scott was born in Ft. Oglethorpe, GA and spent most of his life in the North Georgia and Chattanooga areas. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, playing pool, and hunting.

Scott was preceded in death by his father, Guy Dale Jackson; sister, Kelly Dale Cartar; and grandparents, J.R. and Sybil Jackson and Roland and Hazel Schmitt.

Left to cherish his memory are the love of his life, Annette Jackson; mother, Patti Jackson; sons, Guy Dylan Jackson and Derek (Kayla) Dean; granddaughters, Sydney and Autumn Dean; sister, Kristin Jackson; parents-in-law, Melvin and Lucy Smith; siblings-in-law, Chuck (Debbie) Higdon; special uncle Ray Jackson and aunts, Charlotte and Shirley Jackson; several nieces and nephews; and many friends.

The family would like to extend special thanks to Amedisys Hospice and Chris Hays for their kind and loving care and Norfolk Railway for their support.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 11th at 4pm with Roger Saylors officiating in the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Catoosa or Walker Counties Stockings Full of Love.

The family will receive friends on Monday, February 10th from 4-8pm in the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home & Crematory, Rossville.
