Sharlet Mae (Boran) Tolley

Sharlet Boran Tolley, 58 of Ringgold, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, January 5th, 2021.

Sharlet was born and raised in the Chattanooga and North Georgia areas. She graduated from East Ridge High School and attended Chattanooga State Community College. Sharlet worked for 18 years in the commercial insurance business in the Chattanooga area. She was a “die hard” Tennessee Vols fan who bled orange. Sharlet enjoyed playing volleyball, visiting the beach in Destin, FL, and most of all, spending time with her children and grandchildren. She will be remembered for her big heart always putting others before herself.

Sharlet was preceded in death by her daughter, Augusta Tolley; parents, Sonny and Carolyn Boran; brothers, Bobby and David Boran; and sister, Wanda Boran.

Survivors include her husband, David Tolley; children: Brian (Katie) Barnes and Jessica (Ryan) Barton; grandchildren: Briar Barnes, Naleah and Brooklyn Oglesby; Augusta and McClain Barton; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
