Tribute

 

 

Sharon Kay (Mace) Arvai, 76, entered her heavenly home on Sunday, September 13, 2020 surrounded by her loving family.

Sharon was born in Morgantown, West Virginia on July 17, 1944. Sharon was dedicated to her life-long profession as a Phlebotomist. She will be remembered forever for her hard-work ethic and patient advocacy. Sharon recently retired in March of 2020. She enjoyed crocheting, painting, sewing, and spending time with her twin daughters, grandchildren, great grandson, and beloved dog Lucy. She recently made, close to 100, mask and crocheted a dozen of preemie hats to donate to the local hospital.

Sharon is preceded in death by her mother Maxine (Shirley) McClain; sister Anna Chadwell; and brother Fred Waldren.

Sharon is survived by her twin daughters Darlene (John) Babuka, Marlene (Kenneth) Wolfe; Niece Shirley (Tom) Morgan; 5 granddaughters, 4 grandsons, 1 great grandson, and 1 great granddaughter.

A family celebration of life will be held by the family at a private setting with Pastor Ken Wolfe officiating. In lieu of flowers, Sharon requested that donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Link to donation site St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
