Sharon Elaine (Carter) Yates

Mrs. Sharon Carter Yates, age 61, of Rossville, Georgia passed away April 22, 2019 at her residence.

She was born in Rossville, Georgia on, January 28, 1958 to the late Ernest Carter and Shirley Wallace. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one sister, Shelia Clayton on April 2016

Mrs. Yates worked for Phipps Cleaning Service for over 30 years.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years Eddie Jerome Yates, Of Rossville, three son’s Robert (Cathy) Yates. Randy Yates and Andy Yates one daughter; Dana Scarbrough; Grandchildren, Ashely, Aaron, Austin, April, Amy and Randy Yates II. Brandon Collins, Haley Scarbrough and Gracie Beard; Aunt, Judy Bay; Uncles; Melvin, Richard and David Carter; Cousin, Wanda Amos.

Great Grandkids; Kainen, Brayden Cordell, Elijah and Karsyn Yates Ra’Miya and Prince Hill and Eli and Eliana Collins and Jaxson. Nephew; Ernest Clayton, Niece; LaShell Clayton, Great-nieces Amber and Amanda Clayton.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 26, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Lakewood Memorial Gardens, South.

The family will receive friends on Friday, April 26, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. until the funeral hour in the funeral home.
