Sheree (Hartman) Dodd

Sheree Hartman Dodd, 62, of Rossville, Georgia, took her first Heavenly breath on Thursday, July 9, 2020 surrounded by her family after a prolonged battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis.

She was born in Chattanooga, TN at Erlanger Hospital on March 15, 1958 to the late Clifford & Norma Adkins Hartman.

 Sheree was a 1976 graduate of the Rossville High School.  She lived in the Fairview community, was a member of Fairview Baptist Church and managed Ridgeland Self Storage.

Sheree was a devoted wife, mother, Grammy to Hudson, sister and friend.  She loved her nieces and nephews Heather, Jeremy, Jay, Joseph, Jon and Jared dearly.  

 She was an avid gardner, loved to travel and adored her pets. Sheree was best known for her quiet mothering nature.  She selflessly cared for everyone she knew and was always putting family and friends first.     

Sheree was preceded in death by her parents Clifford and Norma Hartman.

 She is survived by her high school sweetheart and  devoted husband of 42 years, Mark Dodd; daughter, Brooke Dodd; son, Kevin (Courtney) Dodd; grandson Hudson Dodd; sister, Tammy  (Dennis Rich) Thompson.  

The family would like to say a special thanks to Susan Kolwyck Burgess, Debbie Freeman, and Diane Lunsford, family, and friends for all of the support and help during the extended hospital stay in Cleveland, Ohio.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 15, 2020, from 3:00 pm until funeral hour at 6:00 pm at Fairview Baptist Church, 108 Jenkins Road, Rossville, Georgia with Pastor Jim Bennett officiating.

Due to the health pandemic, social distancing will be observed and masks will be required (provided if needed) virtual funeral service will be available via livestream on the Fairview Baptist Facebook page.
