Cheryl “Sherry” Daniel Coke Senn, 67 of East Ridge, TN passed away Saturday December 4th, 2021 in a local hospital.
Sherry was born in Ft. Oglethorpe, GA and raised in the Chattanooga and Clarksville, TN areas. She attended North West High School in Clarksville, TN and earned her cosmetology license from Mid-South Hair Academy. Sherry owned and operated many hair salons through her career. She was an avid bowler and was a league member at Tri-State Lanes and Holiday Bowl. Sherry enjoyed painting ceramics, playing cards, especially “Hand and Foot,” and going to antique stores. She was a member of South Seminole Baptist Church and Fellowship Baptist church. Sherry was funny, likable, loud and outspoken, but she loved hard and had a big heart. She enjoyed life and was considered the ultimate caregiver.
Sherry was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Jimmy Wayne Senn; daughter, Rebecca Kominczak; father and mother, Claude and Ellarae Coke; father and mother, James “Sonny” and Laura Daniel.
Survivors include her son, Kirk (Mindy) Senn; grandchildren: Noah (Mallory) Kominczak, Hannah Senn, Megan Bell, Camden Kominczak, Dylan Senn, and Kylie Bell; siblings: Jim (Debbie) Coke, Jan (Keith) Lackey, Lisa (John) Funderburk, Jeff Daniel, and Patti Eidson; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday December 8th, 2021 at 12pm in the South Crest Chapel with Pastor Drew Tankersley officiating. Interment will follow in the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
