Shirley Jean (Tindell) Curtis

Shirley Jean Tindell Curtis of Rossville, Georgia went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, September 19, 2023.

She was born to the late Robert Tindell and Claudia Tindell Phillips.  Shirley was a member of New Haven Fellowship Church. She had a deep love for her church, enjoyed shopping and spending time at the beach, but most of all, spending time with her Family.

Shirley was also preceded in death by her Husband; Charles F. Curtis, Son; Eddie Curtis as well as two Brothers and two Sisters.

Survivors include her Daughter and Son-in-Law; Debbie and Steve Saylors, Son and Daughter-in-Law; Randy and Sara Curtis, Sister; Zel Fulps, seven Grandchildren and their Spouses; Kristy and Steaven Clark, Lamar and Lisa Curtis, Misty Walker, Tiffany and Jeff Miller, Josh and Katie Curtis, Brandye Webb, and Aspin Curtis, 14 Great Grandchildren,  2 Great-Great Grandchildren and several Nieces and Nephews.

The family would like to extend a Special Thanks to Caris Hospice and the staff at NHC Fort Oglethorpe for their excellent care and kindness.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, September 23, 2023 in the South Crest Chapel.

Interment will be at 1:00 PM Monday, September 25, 2023 at TN-GA Memorial Park in Rossville, Georgia.

The family will receive friends Saturday, September 23, 2023 from 10:00 AM until the funeral hour at 2:00 PM at Lane Funeral Home and Crematory South Crest Chapel.
