Shirley Free

Shirley Jean Ray Free, 81 of Rossville, passed away Saturday, May 30th, 2020.

Shirley graduated from Valley Point High School in Dalton, GA and managed the girls basketball team. She worked as a manager at Gateway Hosiery for many years. Shirley loved watching the Atlanta Braves, Atlanta Falcons, and Georgia Bulldogs, she also enjoyed working crossword puzzles, watching crime dramas, and going for walks. Most of all, Shirley loved spending time with her family.

Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley T. Free; parents, Edgbert and Evelyn Ray; and brothers, Bobby and Jerry Ray.

Survivors include her children, Sonya Martinez, Mark Frazier, and Renee Frazier; sister, JoAnn Ward, brother, Eddie Ray; grandchildren, Jasmine Coleman, Levi Graham, Juniper Chavez; and great grandchild, Riley Coleman.
