Shirley Mowery

Shirley J. Mowery, 81 of Chattanooga, passed away Monday July 16th, 2018 at her home. She was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area. Mrs. Mowery enjoyed gardening, crafts, going on cruises, watching humming birds, sewing, and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her daughter, Lisa (David) Hall; sisters, Betty Shelton and Carolyn Sledge; brothers, Billy Jack (Suzanne) Baugh, Larry (Becky) Baugh, Jerry (Beverly) Baugh, and Mike (Elizabeth) Baugh; Granddaughter, Michelle (David) Phillips; Great-granddaughter, Hala Grant; and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Chattanooga, the Ronald McDonald House, or the Chattanooga Food Bank.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 18th, 2018 at 1:00pm in the South Crest Chapel.

The family will received friends, Tuesday, July 17th from 4-8pm and Wednesday, July 18th, from noon until the service hour at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home & Crematory located at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
