Shirley J. Nowlin

Shirley J. Nowlin, 72 of Calhoun, Ga passed away Thursday June 27th, 2019.

Shirley was born in Chattanooga and was a member of the Sanctuary of Pentecost Church. She enjoyed reading, watching religious movies, and taking trips to the mountains. 

Shirley was preceded in death by her son, Lance Nowlin; parents, Chester Decker and Louise Burton; and sister, Cindy.

Survivors include her husband, Douglas Nowlin; daughter, Sandy (Kenny) Fowler; sisters-in-law, Kathy Zerwer and Karen Mathis; brothers-in-law, James Mathis, Jeff Mathis, and Chris Mathis; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 2nd 2019 at 1:00pm in the South Crest Chapel with Reverend Terry Timms officiating. Interment will be held in the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
