Sherry,
I was sorry to hear that Steve passed. Charlie Armor told me that he was fighting cancer. When I first moved to Chattanooga Steve took me under his wing and helped to to get acquainted. Steve was a good friend and I still remember coming to visit him at the store after having been gone from Chattanooga for many years. It was like we had just talked a few days before. You have my deepest sympathies for your loss. He was a good man and will be missed.

My heart breaks at the loss of Steve, he was a man that was strong and gentle at the same time. He taught each of us so many things, his love for others was tremendous. He was a leader a mentor and a friend. I always felt loved and valued by Steve, he wanted me to have the best and to get there he never missed an opportunity to encourage hard work and sacrifice for my future. He was a simple man but his knowledge and willingness to give and teach was that of the most educated Professor any would have ever studied under. Sherry, you loved him in the same way he loved you. You put the smile on his face and made him feel what love is supposed to be. My family and I will always include you and your girls, our love will not fade. Steve was blessed to have you and the peace you gave him is immeasurable. Prayers for you my sweet sweet lady,
