To Steve's family and friends, I am sorry for your loss and send my condolences. Losing a loved one is one of the hardest times in a family’s life. Know that others care, and most importantly, God cares. He has promised a time when he will “swallow up death forever, and...wipe the tears from all faces.” (Isaiah 25:8). Remember all the joyful times you all spent together and cherish them forever in your hearts.

To the Dixon family,
I am so sorry for your loss. I happened to be there before the first-responders came to take him to the hospital. I was holding his hand, asking him to hang on. He knew his wife was coming. I know he heard me. I feel blessed to be given that gift.
I hope you find peace and strength to get through this difficult time.
