Terrance “Terry” Anthony, 59, of Chickamauga passed away Saturday, August 3, 2019 at his residence.  He was a lifelong resident of Chickamauga and was a member of Mission Ridge Baptist Church.  Terry never met a stranger and was known for his compassion and willingness to help others.  He loved his family and spending time with his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Edith Anthony; and niece, Elizabeth Anthony.

Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Rachel and Jay Harper; grandchildren, Emma Harper and Miles Harper; six brothers and sisters, Dianne (James) Martin, Larry (Debbie) Anthony, Donna (Jim) Brown, Danny (Debbie) Anthony, Vickie Hendricks, and Lamar Anthony; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:00p.m. in the South Crest Chapel with Reverend Ted Verville officiating.

Interment will follow in the Lakewood South Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 4-8p.m. and Wednesday from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, located at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
