Terry L. Boggs

Terry Boggs, 75, of Ringgold passed away Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at a local hospital.  Terry was a native of Greenville, SC and lived most of his life in the Ringgold area where he was a graduate of Ringgold High School in the mid 1960’s.  Terry was a United States Air Force veteran having served during the Vietnam Era.  He worked for several years in the area as a Glazier, and he also worked many years in the Automotive Service industry. Terry loved his family dearly and took great pride in being a “Pop-Pop to his grandchildren.  He was an avid Pittsburg Steelers fan and an Alabama fan.  Terry loved music and was a guitar picker extraordinaire.  He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle and he had a special appreciation for cars.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn and Helen Boggs.

Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Wendy Weeks Boggs; three children, Michelle Boggs Black, Alaina Boggs, and Jarred Boggs; two sisters, Carol (Johnny) Lumpkin and Debra Boggs Harris; brother, Charles Duane (Melody) Boggs; three grandchildren, Nolan Avery Boggs, Palmer Grace Boggs, and Henley Sophia Hostetter; and several nieces and nephews.

A Gathering of family and friends will be held Saturday, May 20, 2023, from 3-6p.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, Rossville, GA.
