Terry Alan Byrd

Terry Alan Byrd, 72 of Ft. Oglethorpe, GA passed away Friday, November 19th, 2021 in a local hospital.

Terry was born and raised in the Chattanooga area and graduated in the 1967 class of East Ridge High School. He was a proud US Air Force veteran and earned the rank of Sergeant. He worked for 10 years as a Bus Monitor for the Catoosa County School System and most recently drove cars for Fast Lube in East Ridge. Terry was a dedicated and hardworking man who always liked to keep busy.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Carl W. and Viola M. Byrd.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda Joyce Byrd; step-son, Casey L. Riden; sister, Karen Byrd (Terry Wayne) Moore; nephews, Justin Wayne (Jessica) Moore and Joshua Alan (Shelby) Moore; great nieces and nephews, Carson, Cassidy, and Harper; many cousins, beloved friends; and classmates.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, November 30th, 2021 at 1:30pm in the Chattanooga National Cemetery with military honors.
