Theda Irene (Harden) Brown

Theda Brown, 79, of Lafayette, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, May 21, 2021 at a local hospital.  Mrs. Brown had lived most of her life in the Chattanooga and Lafayette area and was a member of the Walnut Grove Baptist Church.  She retired in 2004 for Erlanger Children’s Hospital as a CLPN with over 30 years of service.  Mrs. Brown loved her family dearly.  She enjoyed spending time and spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Mrs. Brown had a servant’s heart as she was always looking for ways in helping others.  She also enjoyed quilting and collecting trinkets.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Ola Belle Harden.

Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Jimmy Brown; two children, Ricky Brown  and Jamie Goodrum; grandchildren, A.J. Mashburn, Jimmy Brown, Christy Brown, Kaitlyn Kirby, Sarah O’Neal, and James Harding; and 15 great grandchildren.
