Thelma Louise Clark

December 31, 1931 ~ November 28, 2019 (age 87) 87 Years Old

Tribute

Thelma Louise Clark, 87 of Ringgold, passed away on Thursday November 28th, 2019 in her home.

Thelma was born in Valley Head, AL, lived on Sand Mountain for many years and spent many years in the North Georgia area. She was a spinner by profession and retired from Shaw after many years of service and also enjoyed sewing when she wasn’t at work. Thelma was an active member of the Cedar Bluff Church of God and loved to sing in their gospel quartet groups. She also was heavily involved in her church’s “Clown Ministry,” visiting nursing homes and helping to raise money for Toys 4 Tots. Thelma loved to help people and make them smile. She also dearly loved her Chihuahua, Peanut, and would spoil him like a member of the family.

Thelma was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, David L. Clark; parents, Leonard and Nillie Casey; and all 10 of her siblings.

Survivors include her sons: James L. (Cheryl) Clark and Billy J. Clark; daughters: Donnetta Epperson and Dian (Ken) Newell; beloved dog, Peanut; 5 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
