Thomas "Bud" W. Bell

Thomas W. “Bud” Bell, 76, of Ringgold went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at his home with his family by his side.  He was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga and Ringgold area.  He had attended Midway Baptist Church in Ringgold throughout the years.  Bud worked as a stone mason for over 60 years and he was the owner and operator of BC&S Masonry in Ringgold.  Bud loved the Lord and his family dearly.  He was a hard worker and had a selfless heart.  He always put others before himself and was known to give his last dime to someone who may need it more than he.

He was preceded in death by his children, Michael, Wayne, and Brenda Bell; parents, Thomas and Mattie Bell; and sister, Louise Morgan.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Phyllis Bell; daughter, Teresa (Chris) Rhodes; sister, Rebecca Pemberton; brother, James D. Bell; three grandchildren, Scott, Nikki and Kayla Rhodes; eight great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a host of close family and friends.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 11:00a.m. at Lakewood South Memory Gardens with Brother Mike Holland officiating.
