Tommy Joe Brown, 80 of Rossville passed away in a local hospital on Monday, August 5, 2019. He was a member of Westside Baptist Church and served 8 years with the Army National Guard. He enjoyed playing golf and loved his family dearly. He retired from the Engineering Department of Chattanooga Gas Company.
Tommy was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Alfred and Elsie Mae Brown; daughter, Kim Croft; brother, Raymond Brown; Sisters, Dorothy Vass, Betty Thompson and two infant sisters.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Margaret Brown; son-in-law, James Croft; grandchildren, Megan Croft and Aaron (Kandace) Croft; great granddaughter, Addison Croft and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 12 noon in the South Crest Chapel with Pastor Gary Moore officiating.
Interment will follow in the Lakewood South Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 4-8p.m and Wednesday 10a.m until the funeral hour at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, located at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
