Tommy R. “Tom” Campbell, 84, of Rossville passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at a local hospital. Tom was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga and Rossville area. He was a 1953 graduate of Central High School and a veteran of the United States Army. Tom was the owner and operator of Campbell’s Restaurant for many years in Rossville and he currently worked at Park Place Restaurant and Lane Funeral Home South Crest Chapel. He was a member of the McFarland United Methodist Church where he enjoyed singing in the choir and hosting fellowship dinners at church. Tom was a member of the Rossville Kiwanis Club and a board member of Chattanooga Restaurant Supply. Tom volunteered his time cooking for many fundraisers in our community throughout the years. He loved to play golf, play in his bowling league at Spare Time, and his trips to Gulf Shores where he made many friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Shirley Campbell; and parents, Eugene and Gladys Campbell.
Survivors include his daughter, Tina Campbell; brother, Bobby (Helen) Campbell; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

Due to the current health pandemic there will be a Memorial Service held at a later date at the McFarland United Methodist Church.
