Troy D Dawson

Troy D Dawson, 76, Rossville, of the Dry Valley community passed away at his residence surrounded by his family.

He was born in Hollywood, Alabama March 27, 1944 to the late Haskle and Nellie Dawson. Troy moved to North Georgia as a child.  He worked for CITY Electric as a salesman until his retirement.  Troy enjoyed riding his bike every single day in Chickamauga Battlefield, he also was a volunteer at Chickamauga National Park, and he enjoyed time with his family.

Survivors are his wife of 58 years, Yvonne Parks Dawson; children Teresa Riddle, Melissa Dawson, and Dewayne (Kellie) Dawson. Grandchildren, Weston Dawson, Reilly Riddle and Cooper Reeves.

A graveside service will be Friday, February 19,  12:30 p.m. at Lakewood Memory Gardens South.
