Vickie departed this life to be with her Savior Monday, November 8, after a lengthy illness. Vickie was born in Chattanooga at Memorial Hospital on January 24, 1960 and lived most of her life in Graysville, Ga. and while there attended the Graysville United Methodist Church.
She graduated from Ringgold High School in 1978 and was an employee of Newton Chevrolet for over 20 years.
She is survived by her mother, Betty Brown Dobbs, of Chickamauga, Ga., her sister Judy Brown Petty (Gary) of Chattanooga and brother Ricky Brown of Soddy Daisy.
She is preceded in death by her father Leon Brown, her husband James Wilson, and great nephew Miles Berube.
Survivors include her nephews Ryan Berube (Sissy), Justin Berube, Wesley Brown (Tracey),
niece, Amy Brown Dockery (Rusty), great-nephews Kody Dockery, Max Berube, great nieces Logan Wheland, Kate Berube, Zoey Brown, Taygen Brown and Pyper Dockery.
Special thanks to Hospice of Chattanooga and their Hospice Care Unit. The staff were wonderfully attentive and caring. It was obvious that Vickie’s comfort was their main concern. Also, special thanks to Beth Goodwin, NP and the caring staff at Dr. Richard Sadowitz’s office. They went above and beyond expectations to assist Vickie.
At Vickie’s request, there will be no public services. Family will gather to celebrate her life.
