Wayne Hershel Eaves went home to be with the Lord on July 3rd, 2022. He will be missed by family and friends.
Wayne was born on November 19th, 1940 in Chattanooga Tennessee. He lived his entire live in the Chattanooga area. Wayne was with the Lord from early in life, accepting Christ and receiving the sacrament of Holy Baptism in the Holy Catholic Church. Wayne graduated from Rossville High School in 1959. He was drafted in to the United Sates Army in 1966 and served until 1968, having been stationed in Germany and North Africa. He worked at DuPont until his retirement. Since 1985, he has worked as an independent contractor as the owner of Eaves Construction.
He is preceded in death by his Father James Harold Eaves, his mother Lucy Belle Davis Eaves, and two brothers, Shirley Eaves, and Rod Eaves.
He is survived by his daughter Wendy Eaves Patrick of Christiana, Tennessee, his sister Gail Proctor and brother Harold Eaves both of Chattanooga. He has 3 grandchildren, Wesley Patrick (Murfreesboro, TN), Pierce Patrick, and AnnaMichael Patrick both of Christiana, TN.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, July 12th at 10:30a.m. at the Chattanooga National Cemetery with his son-in-law, Mike Patrick officiating. Full Military Honors will be provided by the US Army and the American Legion Post 95.
