Willard (Jay) Wilson

Willard (Jay) Wilson, 86, died peacefully at home surrounded by his family.  He was born in Johnson City, TN and lived in this area most of his adult life.  Jay lived in Asheville, NC and then moved to the North Georgia in 2002.

He was a truck driver all his life making long hauls. Jay enjoyed Nascar when he wasn’t driving his own truck and his favorite driver was Dale Earnhardt, Sr. He also enjoyed his Eagle collectibles.

Jay is preceded in death by his wife of nearly 30 years, Jan Wilson; granddaughter, Taylor Watkins; first wife, Pat Wilson; and 7 siblings

Survivors include his children, Pam Masone of Tampa, FL, Lesa Wilson, Susan Wilson Watkins, Greg Henderson and Derrick Henderson; grandchildren, Brett, Kaitlyn, Thomas, Lilly, Olivia and Brianna; several great grandchildren; brothers, Walter and David Wilson; many nieces, nephews and extended family members
