William “Billy” Seavers, 49 of Rossville, passed away Thursday, October 14, 2021 in a local hospital.
Billy was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area and attended Ridgeland High School. He started work at age 15 at Krystal before working at Loomis Fargo, and as a bouncer in several night clubs. Billy ultimately became the Store Manager at Krystal for many years. He enjoyed coaching softball, playing pool, and spending time with his family. Billy was a laid back, easy going, friendly man who never met a stranger. He had a big heart and “raised all the kids in Rossville.” Billy will be most remembered for his gift to never turn anyone away; he is dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
Billy was preceded in death by his grandparents, Edgar and Flora Seavers, Ed Epsy, and Lillian King.
Survivors include his children, Alec Seavers and Caitlin Seavers; mother of his children and dear friend, Brandy Seavers; grandchildren: Novalee Hess, Aiden Fletcher, Anzleigh Seavers, and Emberly Fletcher; parents, Edward and Nancy Seavers; siblings, Tammy Deberry and Tony (Betty) King; niece and nephews: Tommy Wooten, Jeffery Deberry, and Casey King; and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 19th, 2021 at 1pm in the Chattanooga Valley Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Hunter Cummings officiating. Interment will follow in the Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.
