Elwyn M. Driscoll, 98, of Ringgold passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2014.  Mrs. Driscoll was born in Ringgold, GA where she lived most of her life.  She was a Christian, an avid reader, she loved flowers, and she was a loving mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Reverend A.A. Driscoll; parents, Peter J. Magin, Jr. and Flora Long Magin; sisters, Hester Magin and Katie Magin; and
brother, Fredrick B. Magin.

Survivors include her children, Ronald J. (Betty) Driscoll of Pulaski, TN and Charlotte D. (Ronald) Williams of Ringgold, GA; brother, P.J. “Pete” Magin of Chickamauga, GA; sister, Arva Jean Hamilton of Ft. Oglethorpe, GA; eight grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; nine great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Driscoll always said, “Useless the flowers you bring after the soul is gone”.  Therefore, in lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Mary and Martha’s Personal Care at 616 Mohawk Street Rossville, GA 30741.

Graveside services will be held Friday at 2:30p.m. at Anderson Memorial Gardens with Dr. Duane Mills officiating and playing the bagpipes.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home.

Arrangements are by the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, located at the end of Historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
