Steve Youngblood, 69, of Ringgold passed away Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at a local hospital.  He had lived most of his life in North Georgia and he retired from Dupont with over 40 years of service.  Steve was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed big game hunting and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Reverend Eldon Youngblood and Irene Youngblood; sister, Gloria McArthur.

Survivors include his brother, Frank (Merrie Lynn) Youngblood of Rossville; sister, Joyce (Doyle) Bright of Cedar Bluff, AL; and several nieces and nephews.

A gathering of friends will be held Saturday, May 3, 2014 from 11a.m. until 1p.m. at the Funeral Home.

Arrangements are by the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, located at the end of Historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
