Mr. Earl B. Payne, 74, of  Rossville, entered into the gates of Heaven on June 8, 2017 to be with his Lord and Savior whom he loved and served during his life.

Mr Payne was a member of Temple Baptist Church. He was formerly a photographer and surgical technician. After attending Kirkman Technical High School he proudly served his country in the United States Army. The family would like to send a special Thank You to the staff of Hospice of Chattanooga for all their help and support.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Adele Lankford Payne and a brother, Mitchell Payne.

Survivors include his loving wife, Norma Jean Lively Payne; daughters, Tanya Picklesimer, Debbie (Mark) Kuehne, and Donna (Martin) Keen. Stepchildren; Tracey (Lebron) Morrow, Terri Camp, and Larry (Heather) Camp. 13 grandchildren and 5 beautiful great grandchildren. Brothers; Robert and Rudy Payne; aunt, Mary Ross; uncle, C R Lankford. Several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00p.m. Tuesday, June 13, 2017 in the South Crest Chapel. Interment will follow in the Chattanooga National Cemetery with military honors.

The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Monday, June 12, 2017 and Tuesday, June 13, 2017, from 11:00am until the funeral hour.

Arrangements are by the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
