James Ronald (Ron) Williams, 74, of Ringgold, Georgia went home to be with his Savior on February 23, 2017.

He was an Honor Graduate of Auburn University with a Degree in Textile Management.  He worked as a Textile Chemical Engineer in the carpet industry for 37 years and was a member of Oakwood Baptist Church in Chickamauga, Georgia. 

He was preceded in death by his parents Glenn Williams and Ima Ruth (Patterson) Williams. 

Survivors include his wife Peggy (Spann) Williams, brother Jeffery A. Williams and sister Glenda (Williams) Bullard.

  A Memorial service will be held on Saturday March 4, 2017 at 1:00 p.m at Oakwood Baptist Church, Chickamauga, with visitation from 11:00 am to 1:00 p.m.

A special thank you to the staff and management at Thrive at BrowWood, on Lookout Mountain, for the loving care given to Ron during his stay.  Also Tapestry Hospice Care for their special care during his journey of Alzheimer's disease.
