Vivian Hayes, 84, of Chattanooga left this earth peacefully on Monday, February 05, 2018 at her home surrounded by her daughters. She had lived most of her life in Chattanooga and retired from Duracell with over 20 years of service. She loved fishing, traveling, and sitting on her front porch socializing with her neighbors.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Everette Biddy, Sr. and Etta Mae “Mary” Biddy; and brothers, Fred Biddy, Ray Biddy, Earl Biddy, Ernest Biddy, Everette Biddy, Jr., and Clyde Biddy.
Survivors include her daughters, Carol (Mike) Cooper of East Ridge, Bettye White of Chattanooga, and Karen (Kelton) Sawyer of Chattanooga; brother, Leon (Brenda) Biddy of Ft. Oglethorpe; four grandchildren, Johnny Hayes, Billy Ritchey, Jr., Aaron Sawyer, and Amrey Miller; several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 12:00p.m. in the South Crest Chapel with Reverends Robert Schrader and Max Bates officiating
Interment will follow in the Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 4-8p.m. and Thursday one hour prior to the service at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory located at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
