Anthony Deloy “Tony” Tipton, 56, of Rossville, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 14, 2017.

Tony was a faithful member of Lakeview First Baptist Church where he sang in the choir, was active in the men’s Fellowship Sunday School Class, and the small group Bible study.  He was known for his work with hi-performance motorcycles and motorcycle racing, having worked for his dad at MTC Engineering Motorcycle Racing Company in California, Mexico, Florida, and Georgia.  Tony’s passions in life were serving God, attending church, and motorcycle racing.  He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth “Ken” Tipton, mother, Fran Tipton, and brother, Woody Tipton.

Survivors include his sister, Sharon (Richard) Hundley, Elizabethton, KY; step-mother, Bea Tipton; aunt, Lily Moore; cousin, Lynn Brollier; several nieces, nephews including the families of Kia Hunt, Tara Raczenski, Michael Hundley, Victoria Hundley, as well as a host of friends.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, October 21st 11:00 a.m. at Lakeview First Baptist Church with Pastor Patrick Cooper officiating.   

Visitation will be held Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the service hour at the church.

Arrangements are by the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home & Crematory, at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
