I remember dalton as that crazy redneck boy across the street. When I found out about his passing I was not wanting to believe it. I wasn't as close to dalton as many people but me and him used do many things together. You will be dearly missed buddy R.I.P buddy

Dear Family, My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Losing a child is the most abnormal thing you can ever go through. The normal you, life, etc. will be no more. My advise is to draw close to the Lord and ask him to guide and comfort you daily. This is the only thing I know to be true and helpful in this most difficult time in your life. I have a precious son in Heaven (Travis) who was also 17 and I know I will see him again one day!! Until then, my trust is in the Lord, he is the one who truly loves us and the only one who can help you through all of this.

It was about 2 years ago when Dalton came to the barn to try out our horse Cheyanne. He was thinking about buying her. That was the day my horse bucked me off and I was so embarrassed. He seemed like such a nice kid. When I was little and went over to my cousins house we would play outside with Dalton, Haley, and Dustin sometimes. It's hard to adapt to something like this, he was my age and he just started living, it just all happened so fast. But it shouldn't have happened. So many mistakes were made that could've been prevented.. I have asked so many people to pray for the McConathy family. My whole church prayed last night. I won't be able to make it today but Kim you're in my prayers. I pray that God gives you the strength to get through this.

Dalton i am so thankful and honored for you being my cousin an god giving me the time I did have with you , you never failed to make me smile I remember if I was talking to a guy you didn't like you would have me promise you I would stop Talking to him and I kept those promises I remember the last time you hugged me was a couple of weeks ago at the park and you would always make sure I was out of trouble I love you so much precious angel you're greatly missed

He was a very dear friend to my son Zachary Howard,and was a good kid,,pryaing for the family and there lost,I couldn't imagine loosing one of my kds my heart breaks for this family
