Lila Jean Watson, 88, of Chattanooga, passed away on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 in a local healthcare facility.

Mrs. Watson, a native of Harrison, Tennessee, was born on May 27, 1928 to the late Horace and Myrtle Hodge. She was Baptist by faith and enjoyed spending time with her family, being a housekeeper and shopping.

She is also preceded in death by her late husband, James O. Watson, daughter, Wilma Hodge, two brothers and three sisters.

Survivors include her son, Garry Watson, two grandchildren, three brothers, Harold, Grady (Mary), and Tommy (Vickie) Hodge and two sisters, Katherine (James) Borlen and Doris Hodge.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park with Pastor Richard Kennett and Revered Gary Shirley officiating.
