May I add my condolences to the family on the passing of your loved one? How thankful we can be for the most reliable source of comfort at times like this. Of course that source is "the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all out trials"(2Cor.1:3,4). How thankful we are that we have such a loving heavenly Father who cares for us. My sympathy goes out to you all.

Barbara holds a special place in our hearts. We had many wonderful times with her and Bob while at Fairview. She was a great mother, loyal Sunday School and church member, and a very special friend. She will be missed. Prayers for each family member. Wish we could be there to celebrate her home going with you.

My very first memory of Mrs. Beene was my first time attending VBS at Fairview Baptist. She was the director as she was for so many years. FBC became my church home and remained so until I moved from the area. Both she and Bob along with Denny, Derek, Melanie and Darren were part of my church family. She will be missed and my prayers go out to each of you as you go through this sad time. I know she's happy to be back with Bob. The Lord has gained the second half of a godly loving couple.
